Card payments

Take card payments without handling card numbers.

Customers add a card on NETOPIA Payments' hosted page. Payware keeps only the token, so you can charge that card later, once or on a schedule, with a single API call.

How it works

  1. Customer adds a card

    You start an enrollment and send the customer to NETOPIA Payments' hosted page. A 0 RON verification stores the card; Payware never receives the card number.

  2. You charge it

    Create a payment for any amount in RON, EUR or USD against the customer's stored card. Send an Idempotency-Key and a retry can never charge twice.

  3. You hear the result

    The outcome arrives as a payment.succeeded or payment.failed webhook. A payment that is still pending is settled when NETOPIA Payments confirms it.
