Payware

Cards, bank payments, subscriptions and invoices. One API.

Payware lets you take card payments and RoPay account-to-account payments, bill customers on a schedule and invoice what you collect. Your server talks to one API and receives signed webhooks for everything that happens.

Card payments

Charge a stored card once, or let renewals do it. Customers enter card details on NETOPIA Payments' hosted page.

Built for developers

A JSON API with test keys, idempotent requests and a full reference. Create a subscription in one call:

curl https://your-payware-host/v1/subscriptions \
  -H "authorization: Bearer sk_test_..." \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"customer_id":"<customer>","items":[{"price_id":"<price>"}]}'

Everything is reported back to you

Signed webhooks

Payment and subscription changes are delivered with a signature and retried with backoff.

Test and live keys

sk_test_ and sk_live_ keys select the mode. Test mode never charges a card.

One integration point

Callbacks from the payment provider are handled by Payware, so your platform only talks to one API.

Dashboard

See payments, customers, subscriptions and webhook deliveries, and take a payment by hand.

Start with the reference

The quickstart takes you from a test key to a first subscription.
